RAWR! Random rant moment-thing-that-no-one-should-read! (for the sake of their own sanity...)
Pokemon fics overplay the gritty-reality card to the point where it's just as ridiculous as the its fluffy and kid-safe counterpart which is also known as canon. You'd think people would get it through their heads that "Woah! I found out the world is black & white!" isn't much of a revolutionary epiphany at all and would know when to stop going on and on, ranting about how dark the universe they've written up is oh-so-different from "white" and "childish" canon. You've switched sides, but it didn't stop you from parodying the "black" the same way "white" was "cruelly masticated".

(translation: canon needs love too. And no bullying! :((( )

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular--this only applies to the stories and authors that display and/or exemplify this sort of behavioral tendency. This was written to express my irritation, not to act as some kind of sad effigy for you throw your woes and teen-angst at and basically beat a dead horse (e.g some twilight haters are known to possess this sheep-mindedness when ranting about their hate for so-and-so). While what they're doing is pretty annoying, they have a right to bask in their ignorance as they usually don't know any better--time will pass, and they'll grow up and mature... and sooner or later, they'll be writing up the fics you truly enjoy.
TL;DR: I try my best to not hate people--they change all the time, and when that happens, they might not be as annoying as I remember them to be. ... I'm hating the haters and am such a hypocrite! woooooooooo
